You can submit a piece of work on a subject you’re passionate about to the Best Student Paper Award competition. The IAA Secretary General will sign your certificate and you’ll be recognized at the reception for networking. But this isn’t all! Here’s how you can apply for a student award for paper.
Best paper for student
The USAEE/IAEE have named the 2021 Dennis J. O’Brien Best Student Paper Award. Four students will be chosen by the USAEE/IAEE to speak about their papers in a Best Paper session at the virtual conference. The conference registration fee will be waived in the case of winners. The US$500 award will be split among three runners-up. The same paper may be submitted for writer tools both Best Student Paper Competition and concurrent session presentations. Students are only allowed to choose one venue for their presentation.
Based on the reviews and ad-hoc presentations of runners up, the committee will choose the Best Student Paper. All eligible papers must be presented at the conference with the student’s name being listed as the primary author or first author. The student’s work will also be recognized as a special Best Student Paper in the Conference Proceedings. This award is presented to the student most likely to make significant contributions in the field. This award is presented each year at the Computer Engineering and Applications Conference.
